Recent Movies

Recently I've been catching up on movies. This started back in mid-February and I'll try to put my updates in chronological order as I've seen them.

Little Miss Sunshine - This is not a movie for kids. This is an adult type movie, not necessarily for the language, but just that anyone younger than 20 won't understand the nuance of the content. I saw this in the theater and actually own the DVD. Watch it when you get chance, a solid A.

Ghost Rider - This is based on the comic book of the same name. Overall it was pretty good. Defiantly rental worthy for a good action adventure type. I give it a B.

Borat - I wish someone would have just taken me to the movie when it came out and not told me anything about it. I've heard a lot about the movie, and saw a bunch of previews. It had some funny parts, but its over hyped. This one gets a B-.

The Departed - A star studded cast for this movie, and it lives up to the Oscar that it received. The acting is great and the story moves along well. The direction is also done very well. Defiantly rent this one, A.

V for Vendetta - I finally watched this on Showtime. Pretty good for the anarchist in me. Basically England turns into an Orwellian state. V (the main character) is out to change all of this and does. Good action adventure, B-.

I'll post an update from time to time.
